SON OF A BITCH! I knew the day would come but not this soon...... The timing belt broke on my car. I was driving home from the friday night meet and then the engine suddenly cut off, I lost power steering, and power brakes. I had to get a tow and pay the extra fee for a flat-bed. Now I have to take off the head see how many of the valves are bent and decide whether I want to replace the valves and possibly get the head machined, or if I can get a good enough deal do the DOHC headswap from an EVO,Optima, or Sonata, and have a 2.4L stroker engine ready for a turbo build. I might just revert it back to stock sell it and then buy another one. Depends on how I'm feeling over the next couple of days.
